King parrots are usually seen in pairs and is found mostly in eucalypts and acacias trees. King Parrots eat seeds, berries, fruits, nuts, nectar, blossoms and leaf buds. Males are easily identified. They have a bright scarlet orange head, neck and underparts with a bright green back and wings. Females heads are dark green.
